About Shenglong Wood-carving Model Art Co., Ltd

Shenglong Wood-carving Model Art Co., Ltd in ShanXi County，Shanxi Province, was set up in 1995, located in South of Xinkai Road in Dongjie District, Hongdao Town. It is a professional factory which can design, manipulate and assemble miniatures, wood-carving models of ancient buildings and repair ancient buildings inside and outside Shanxi Province. It also can imitate cultural relics.

Shenglong Wood-carving Model Art Co., Ltd always insists on the principle that it is dedicated to passing on the Chinese traditional culture and promoting the art of ancient buildings during more than ten years. It explores and develops the artistic and commercial values about ancient buildings culture in Shanxi Province, inheriting traditional techniques, developing and innovating actively. Now it has taken a way of specialization, scale management and seriation to design and manipulate wood-carving models of ancient buildings. Its products are collected by the Great Hall of the People, Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres in the State Department, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the National Palace Museum and the National Grand Theater.

It has taken the tasks for Shanxi Province to manipulate the presents when HongKong and Macro returned back in 1997 and 1999. It has made the float for Shanxi Province government during the 60th National Day of the country. It has made the artistic exhibits for Shanxi Province government in the World Exposition (2010) in Shanghai. It has made exhibits for Central China Exposition in 2011.

Shenglong Wood-carving Model Art Co., Ltd in Dingxiang County has became the biggest base to manipulate models of wood-carving ancient buildings in China and base of training for colleges. It is protective base of nonmaterial cultural heritage in Shanxi Province. It is awarded as the base of Official Reception’s presents in Shanxi Province by the Provincial Party Committees in Shanxi Province. It is awarded as the demonstrative base of cultural industry in Shanxi Province by Provincial Government. It is also awarded as advanced unit of cultural industry development by the Provincial Party Committees and Government in Shanxi Province.

Liu Xiaochen, president of Shenglong Wood-carving Model Art Co., Ltd was named as Master of Art and Craft in Shanxi Province by Provincial Government. He is member of China Arts - Crafts Association (CACA), executive director of Arts - Crafts Association in Shanxi Province, vice chairman of the Folk Artistic Association of Shanxi Province, the Vice Chairman of traditional Arts – Crafts Protection and Development of Shanxi Province, visiting professor of Taiyuan University of Technology, tutor in Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Shanxi University, member of the third Committee of Political Consultative Conference in Xinzhou City, standing committee member of the 10th and 11st Committee of Political Consultative Conference in Dingxiang county, Shanxi Province.
